The Story Behind AlhazApp
AlhazApp started with a simple frustration: why is it so hard to find a good, free tool just to pick a random name or set up a tournament bracket? Every site we tried required an app download, hid the best features behind a paywall, or bombarded the screen with annoying ads.
We couldn't find a platform we actually liked using, so we decided to build it ourselves. What began as a basic spin-the-wheel website for settling friendly bets has steadily grown into a complete, professional toolkit relied upon by teachers, event organizers, and game-night hosts every single day.

What We Believe In
- Provably Fair Math: A randomizer is useless if it's biased. We utilize the browser's Web Crypto API to guarantee that every spin, dice roll, and coin flip is 100% mathematically fair.
- Privacy First: Your data belongs to you. By default, when you paste a list of your students' names, it stays entirely on your device. You now have the option to create an account to securely save your lists across devices, but it's completely optional—if you don't log in, nothing is ever saved to our servers.
- Zero Friction: No mandatory accounts. No forcing you to download mobile apps. Open the site in your browser, use the tool, and get on with your day.
